Joseph David Starr has been song writing and playing music since the tender age of five. When he was seventeen years old he bought his first bass using money made waiting tables at a kosher motel during one Passover. He has been sky-rocketing ever since! Now a well experienced musician and part-time recording engineer, he has dedicated some of his professional career to writing and recording music commercially.

After losing incredibly bad in a poker game and not having the money to cover his debt, Joey had two choices….Create a few theme songs for the college television show "Gettin' Later" or have his fingers broken; thus ending his career forever. The choice was clear.

"Damn that Ryan Muldowney! Once I am cleared of this debt, his ass WILL be mine," Starr said regarding the incident.
