The
#1 best seller that is Michael Joseph Reilly III's life began
in Pittsburgh PA, on September 5, 1982. Mike grew up in the
mean streets of Crafton, which is a borough just outside of
Pittsburgh. Mike attended St. Philip's Elementary School.
Many of his classmates where jealous of Mike and choose to
lash out at him. He was often ridiculed. They found it difficult
to find a fault in Mike so they decided to tell him he had
a large nose even though he doesn't. He was called names like
"Michael Noseph Reilly the Turd" and even more clever
names like "Shonzy Shonzbourne." Despite his hardships
as a young boy, Mike has grown to be a success.

| In
2001, Mike graduated from a small Single-A catholic school called
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Mike enjoyed many athletic achievements
in high school. He played four years of baseball, two years
of golf, one year of soccer, and four years of bowling. Reilly
was captain of the bowling team for two years, both of which
were state champion teams. Mike also helped lead OLSH to their
first baseball section championship in 2000.
After
high school Mike had one college in mind, and that was Slippery
Rock University. Mike's decision was made easier by the fact
that Patterson Hall was fitted with a state-of-the-art air
conditioning system. He is also partial to the food that is
dispersed at the nearby Weisenfluh Dining Hall. Today Mike
is a junior communication major living in Towers Hall.
Mike is
new to the television scene. He didn't come from Hollywood
like all the other crew members of "Gettin' Later",
instead, he was found inside a dumpster attempting to drown
away his sorrows after his intramural softball team lost a
pivotal playoff game. Mike was renewed when his faithful chum
Ryan Muldowney pulled him out and asked him to be a part of
the show. Mike was signed to a multi-million-dollar contract
and a new Lexus to top it off. (By multi-million-dollar contract
we mean 2¢ and by a Lexus we mean a bag of Doritos.)
Now with
season 3 under his belt Mike has slowly moved up the ladder.
That shy lad who once stuck his eyes behind the camera was
promoted to director. Then, with the departure of host Ben
Mitchell, Mike was promoted again, this time to sidekick.
With Mike moving forward, so too will the show. Reilly said
his ultimate goal as sidekick was to help fans realize that
there is a little "Gettin' Later" in everyone.
